The Waiting Room (Part 4)
- Elevated Thoughts

This is the part no one wants to talk about.
The in-between.
Not who you used to be. Not yet who you’re becoming.
Just… waiting.
After the eagle plucks and breaks and sheds, it doesn’t immediately rise. It hides. It waits. Vulnerable. Naked. Defenseless.
This is the most dangerous part of the process, because it feels like nothing is happening.
But healing is happening, just beneath the surface.
In my own journey, I remember feeling like the pressing and the plucking made sense. They hurt, but at least they felt productive. But the waiting? That felt cruel.
Silence. Stillness. Obscurity.
But what I learned is this:
The waiting isn’t empty. It’s where strength is restored.
Roots grow in silence. Bones heal in darkness. Wings form in secret.
Don’t despise the waiting room. God does some of His deepest work in hiddenness.
The world may not see you right now, but heaven is watching you become.
He hides you to heal you. And when the time is right, your rise will not be small.
Covered in stillness and hope,
Alexya
